Paper, ink, and what archival actually means.
Museum-quality enhanced matte paper, acid-free and archival. The tone is a soft, deep cream — never bright white. Designed to feel closer to a museum print than a poster.
Pigment giclée, color-managed end-to-end. Pigment inks have far better fade resistance than dye-based inks — the print is built to last decades on a wall away from direct sun.
Printed. Each Paperverse is a single composed image — the verse, the divider, the illustration — printed as one piece. Nothing is glued, layered, or applied after the fact.
Discipline. Muted indigo on cream off-white across both styles — the Modernist abstract prints and the sumi-e brush studies share the same ink. The two styles differ in craft, not color. A single ink reads as archival rather than decorative — closer to a Scandinavian press print or a Japanese woodblock than a polychrome poster. It's the rule we won't break.
Three finishes, two sizes.
Two sizes, both portrait:
Three: Black (matte), White (matte), and Red Oak (warm natural wood). Each frame has a slim gallery profile — designed not to compete with the print.
Red Oak is real natural wood. Black and White are solid-color wood frames.
No — every print is shown edge-to-edge inside the frame, so the art fills the whole opening. It's a clean, modern, gallery read, and the cream background built into each design gives it room to breathe without a separate mat board.
Not yet — augmented reality preview is on our roadmap. For now: 11×14 is roughly the size of a sheet of letter paper plus a thin frame; 16×20 is closer to the dimensions of an opened broadsheet newspaper.

What's possible at launch — and what's coming.
Not at launch. We're starting with a curated short list of verses where we've designed the illustration with care. Custom verses are on the roadmap — likely a few months in.
King James Version at launch. KJV is in the public domain and reads with a literary weight that matches the design. NIV is coming once we close our merchandising license with Biblica — likely in the first months after launch.
Not yet. English (KJV → NIV) at launch. Other languages are something we're thinking about — quietly.
